  Had a miscommunication issue trying to make a take away order with one of the staff members, which which was quickly sorted by the Manager Col. And on his day off to say the least. I am actually impressed to see such committed customer service. Something that is not that common these days. Plus our dinning experience was that impressive I can guarantee we will become regular dinners. Thanks Guys.

  Great service, the meals are always fresh and delicious and a good sized serving. And the best thing? The $ value.

  A lovely pub with a welcoming atmosphere. The background music in lieu of live band was absolutely perfect (style and volume) and I think that's a tricky detail to accomplish.
  Chips are delicious and moreish.
  I'm really looking forward to the next visit and intrigued to see the finished refurbishment.
  I have family visiting in August so keen to bring them along for a meal.
  The fairy lights on the deck are lovely so please keep them up.

  Oh we wanted to love the local but felt the “rib fillet” for $38 was pretty thin and desperate. It was better a month or two ago. Please take care with the food.

  Such a lovely, cosy and peaceful place to stay. We were made to feel so relaxed and welcomed. A must stay if you are spending time in the Far North.

  My wife, son & myself stayed for an evening & could happily stay for a week! Great place & great host Steve, highly recommended. Clean, tidy, peaceful & quite unique. Beautiful location on the Barron River located within the rainforest. Will be back next time we're looking for accommodation anywhere near Kuranda.
